Amanda began her career in public health at the New York State Department of Health, where she evaluated the implementation of HIV testing as part of routine medical care. Since then, she has built more than 15 years of experience in program evaluation, epidemiology, and data science, working across academic, government, and nonprofit organizations to strengthen public and behavioral health systems.

Her work has focused on designing and implementing evaluations for federal, state, and community initiatives, with particular expertise in behavioral health, suicide prevention, victim services, and crisis response systems. Amanda is especially passionate about building data systems that help organizations understand not only whether programs work, but how they can work better.

Amanda earned a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University at Albany and is completing a second master’s degree in Data Science at Eastern University.  Outside of work, she enjoys swing dancing, exploring Montana’s backroads on her motorcycle, and spending late summer afternoons picking huckleberries in the mountains.
