Mission and Values

Mission

To provide applied social science research skills to the public sector and mission-driven private-sector organizations in the service of improving the health, wellbeing, and livelihoods of individuals and communities.

Values

  • We are committed to non-discrimination and respect for all identities in the workplace.
  • We are committed to accurately and transparently representing the perceptions and experiences of all individuals who contribute their knowledge, experiences, and perceptions to our work.
  • We are committed to conducting all aspects of the research process with the highest level of integrity and safeguards to protect the interests and needs of everyone involved.
  • We are committed to non-hierarchical management. This means that individuals will have different roles, responsibilities, and expertise, but these differences do not codify power or create systems in which anyone’s needs or preferences take precedence over the needs and preferences of others.
