Steven spent his career prior to JG working as a Christian minister. Serving congregations across the southeastern United States since 2009, he was most recently the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church in Gastonia, North Carolina. Steven joined our team in 2022 as an editor, writer, and project manager, continuing his passion for helping communities flourish. He received his bachelor’s degree in English literature and secondary education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Master of Divinity degree from Wake Forest University.
